Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms within garter, FID DEF IND IMP outer legend, inner legend , inner legend reads HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE, below denomination HALF-CROWN and date, (S.3980; Bull; 3571; ESC.750). Set out on a fully rounded fl an without any major edge discrepancies or issues, legends clear and portrait showing the main lines. Rev, stronger in its detail with clear date. Good fair near fi ne, reverse stronger. Very rare, key date in the reign.
