Victoria (1837-1901), Halfcrown, 1874, type A5, young head left with two plain fillets in hair, omitting W.W. on truncation, date below, legend surrounds VICTORIA DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms within wreath, emblems below, reads BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID DEF (S.3889; ESC.692; Bull. 2741). Slate grey tone, excellent detail with few unobtrusive marks, the reverse fields mirrored. About uncirculated, fetching.
