Victoria (1837‑1901), Crown, 1844, Star stops, young filleted head left, W WYON. RA raised on truncation, date below, toothed border surrounding both sides, legend surrounds VICTORIA DEI GRATIA. Crowned quartered shield of arms within laurel wreath, reads BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID DEF, edge inscription with star stops, DECUS ET TUTAMEN ANNO REGNI VIII (S.3882; ESC. 280; Bull 2561). Lightly toned, some obverse nicks and markings, pleasing portrait with residual lustre. Pleasing very fine.
