Anglo‑Saxon (c. AD 750‑1000) Sword Pyramid, leaded bronze and garnet (14x11mm, 3.36g). A leaded bronze Anglo‑Saxon sword pyramid, with engraved stepped decoration on all sides and topped with a single garnet. Fastening bar is present on the underside. (For similar, see Mortimer Type 1vii). Slight chip to one edge, otherwise in a good state of preservation.
