William III (1694‑1702), Exeter, Halfcrown, 1696 E OCTAVO, first laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, E below, reverse small crowned shields cruciform, small early harp with five strings, lettered edge, (Bull 1069 (R4); ESC 537; S.3478). Near very fine for issue, lightly cleaned, adjustment marks both sides. Better struck than the usual examples which normally turn up for this extremely rare issue.
