Lina Fitzjames is a junior numismatist with a deep interest in medieval history and coinage. As one of our British coin specialists, Lina provides a deep understanding of hammered and early milled British coinage.
Lina completed her Master’s in Art Gallery and Museum Studies from the University of Manchester, and has previously worked at the Mary Rose Museum as a Collections and Conservation Assistant, where she aided in the preservation of the museum’s artefacts, including a number of hammered coins.
Having worked at Baldwin’s for over two years, Lina has become a well-known figure within the numismatic community, and has catalogued many numismatic items for notable auctions, such as the Frank Waley Collection of Hammered Silver and Milled Gold Coins. Lina is also known for her appearances in many print and digital articles, such as the Antiques Trade Gazette, and FLO.
