1887 (21 JUL) native cover from Majra to Lahore, franked on face at double rate by 1885-96 6p blue-green x 2 (one with small spike hole), tied by individual strikes of "S" in barred rectangle. On reverse, octagonal MAJRA (21 JUL) despatch and NAHAN (22 JUL) transit datestamp, with British Indian Nahan transit and Lahore (25 JL) delivery CDS alongside, and boxed "POSTAGE DUE / (1) ANNA", as Imperial postage had not been prepaid.
