1900 (FE 9) cover from Kishangarh to Arain, franked by 1899-1900 ½a imperf in a lovely pastel 'lavender' shade which is related to but different from the listed 'lilac' of the unused examples usually seen. Tied to very neat envelope by choice circular KISHENGARH/RAJ P.O. circular pmk with manuscript date FE 9 00 in RED, with equally fine ARAIN/RAJ P.O. delivery postmark at foot, showing date '9-2 1900' in black manuscript. Stamp with unobtrusive crease at top, and cover with trivial toned spots at foot, mentioned for accuracy, nevertheless a superb cover of great rarity. Clear ISES Certificate (2010) as SG 7 ('lilac').
