1867 (AP 22) small native cover from Jammu to Amritsar, franked on reverse by 1866 ½a grey-black circular, cut square with magenta seal cancel, and tied by very fine British Indian "UMRITSUR" arrival CDS (AP 24 67), with SEALKOTE transit CDS x2 (very fine in black dated AP 22, and part in red dated AP 23) and framed "TOO LATE" alongside. Apparently no external postage charged. Unobtrusive cover tear through black Sealkote cds, still fine appearance and much above average. Very scarce thus. SG 1; Scott 1
