1879 ½a red on thin wove paper bisected diagonally, on India ½a postal stationery envelope from Leh to Amritsar.  Roughly opened at left and a little stained, backstamped Leh and Secondee.  R.P.S. Certificate (2009).  SG 126a, £950; Scott 92 var.
  
These bisects were made during a shortage of ¼a stamps at Leh.  It is believed that only three covers or cards survive
