1936 envelope (HIS EXALTED HIGHNESS/THE NIZAMS GOVERNMENT/HYDERABAD DECCAN crest on backflap) with India KGV ½a, 1a pair, 4a & 8a tied by HYDERABAD CDSs of 17th August.  DAMAGED-BY SEA WATER cachet, having been carried on the Imperial Airways Short Kent flying boat Scipio, which sank at Mirabela, Crete on 22nd August, kiling two of the eleven on board.  Crawley arrival of 27 AU.  Believed to be the only known example of mail originating from Hyderabad from this crash.  BPA Certificate (2003)
