Very fine used Bury St Edmunds, provisionally overprinted ‘POSTAGE/ DUE’ to alleviate a shortage of postage due stamps on the morning of the 7th June 1951. Cancelled by a Bury St Edmunds datestamp. Very rare, only a few used examples are believed to exist. SG504var.</p>
