1892 imperforate proofs of the 40ct frame in blue on gummed paper, with trial impressions of numerals '1' and '2' in brown in the otherwise blank upper and lower spaces.  Three singles in different fonts, and a fourth variant se-tenant with an impression with the spaces blank.  All with blemishes; one single and the pair quite seriously toned, and the pair with crease at base and thinned.  Extremely rare in private hands.  For SG T128
