1944 (1 Oct) Perak 10c dull purple (Type 2 Kanji opt) and Pahang 12c bright ultramarine (type 16 ‘DAI NIPPON’ opt, both with with type TT1 'TRENGGANU' opts each a VERTICAL PAIR tied to piece, by complete Kuala Trengganu cds dated '1 DEC 44'. The 10c dull purple is an extremely rare stamp which had never before appeared on the open market before the Sura collection surfaced this year, this the only multiple of the six known examples, and the only combination franking on piece.
