1943 (15 Apr) censored “O.H.M.S” cover from Tiddim, Chin Hills to Simla, franked by INDIA postage 1937-40 ½a and 1a tied by two fine strikes of TIDDIM single ring cds (without year slug) FALAM (21 APR) and Simla (7 MAY 43) backstamps. A rare and important cover, believed to be the unique surviving usage of Indian Stamps at Tiddim (which finally fell to the Japanese in late 1943). Ex Berhardt (SGA 18 Dec 2007), Paisley (RL 13 Jan 1981 lot 740) and Gerald Davis, and offered on his original exhibition page with a map of the emergency runner post route.&nbsp;
