1881 (28 Dec) '2' on 24c emerald-green 'OFFICIAL', type 23 surcharge, crisply cancelled by large part 'No. 50 CO(RENT)YNE COAST' double-ring cds, dated 'JA 27 82'. The surcharge severely misplaced to foot. Slight bend and one faintly toned perf, but a most remarkable example of this rare stamp, of which only 500 were issued. 'W.H.C.' (= Colson) H/S on reverse.
