1902-09 1s orange-red 'Kea & Kaka', perf 11, error wmk 12b inverted, neatly cancelled by part cds. Typical perfs and centring but fine for this rarity of which probably less than 10 examples exist. Ex Bartrop (CRL 24/10/84, lot 1280; realised £810+VAT, against the then catalogue value of £600). RPS cert (1950).
