1858 1d Rose-red Pl.47. Very fine envelope sent from Dalmellington to Glasgow bearing a 1d rose-red Pl.47. (SG 40) lettered IK, neatly tied by a greenish blue Dalmellington cds for MY.4.1858. Backstamped by an Ayr experimental cds for MY.4.1858, and a green Glasgow arrival cds for the same day. Backflap removed nevertheless an attractive cover with this scarce coloured cancellation. Spec. C10(1)wb. Ex. "Claymore".
