Sale number: S24003 The Raffles Collection Part II has a distinct emphasis on the KG VI era and is replete with multiples (especially Plate blocks), but all reigns are represented. The collector's main interest was in more complex areas such as KUT, Leeward Islands and Mauritius, with some notable rarities included. Following on from Part I, there is further coverage of the Far East, with missing colours on the Malaya 1965 Orchids, good Brunei and Sarawak and some excellent Singapore. It's an interesting sale, which should have something for most collectors, especially those with an interest in multiples.

1942-8 1r blocks group, unmounted o.g. &nbsp;Two Plate 2 blocks on ordinary paper, each with lightly toned gum; the remainder late printings on chalky paper. &nbsp;Plate 3 lower four rows of RP. a couple of light bends and a couple also very lightly foxed, still a fine multiple with R7/6 RP sliced ‘I’; a further block with sliced ‘I’ and a fine Plate 3 block of eight. &nbsp;SG 260b, c (although some are 1948 chalky paper printings, rather than 1949)
