1938-51 definitives collection in large green stockbook. A very substantial lot, entirely multiples, ranging from the occasional pair to complete panes (½d only); mostly Plate or imprint blocks, almost all unmounted. Some with excessive toning but many are fine. 1d including better perfs; 1½d perf 14 three Plate blocks including one of ten, and perf 13½ block, but all toned; 2d better perfs; 3d perf 13½ Plate block of four and imprint block of eight, perf 14 Plate block with dark gum; 6d perf 13½ bottom two rows and a Plate block, perf 14 corner block with acceptable gum, perf 13 blocks with re-entries and 17 Plate blocks; 1/- perf 14 Plate block with dark gum, perf 13½ fine Plate block (one hinged), and perf 13 25 Plate blocks and others; 2/- perf 14 Plate block and imprint block, dark gum, perf 13½ corner block, cream gum, perf 13 four Plate blocks and part imprint pair with R9/3 bird on memorial, lightly toned; 5/- perf 14 and 13½ Plate blocks with brown gum; perf 13 nine Plate blocks and five further blocks; 10/- perf 14 Plate and corner blocks, brown gum, perf 13 five Plate blocks; £1 two Plate blocks and plain block.
