Sale number: S24003 The Raffles Collection Part II has a distinct emphasis on the KG VI era and is replete with multiples (especially Plate blocks), but all reigns are represented. The collector's main interest was in more complex areas such as KUT, Leeward Islands and Mauritius, with some notable rarities included. Following on from Part I, there is further coverage of the Far East, with missing colours on the Malaya 1965 Orchids, good Brunei and Sarawak and some excellent Singapore. It's an interesting sale, which should have something for most collectors, especially those with an interest in multiples.

1895-1937 mint range on stocksheets. &nbsp;1895 set less 25c in blocks of four, 50c and $1 without gum; 1906 set, some with patchy gum as usual, otherwise fine; 1907 set with 4c shades, and duplicate set to 50c, some with dark gum; 1908-22 set with duplicates to $1, the $5 with slightly dried gum, the $25 with better gum than usual although with evidence of several previous mounts, dark gum on many of the other values; 1924-37 set (2) with mixed gum, 5c orange-yellow with ‘5c’ retouch very lightly hinged, and 2c orange unissued, together with some blocks including 30c unmounted corner block of six with Vignette Plate 2
