1879 1d Purple (Wmk. Anchor). Very fine group of four unused o.g. corner marginal blocks of four imperforate colour trials in pale-emerald, pale-blue, yellow-ochre, light brown and a single example in rose-carmine produced for the 1879 tender in UPU colours. A few creases and crayon marks nevertheless a very difficult group to assemble. SG F22, Spec. L122. Cat £5,100.
