1857 4d Rose-carmine (SG66, Wmk. Large Garter). A fine group of eight used examples, two covers and a block of four large garter watermarked paper. The used examples in a shades of rose, deep rose and rose-carmine, a watermark inverted example and horizontal pair cancelled by a single contrary to regulations cancellation. The two covers both showing an example with an unlisted constant plate flaw at right. A wonderful study. SG66/66a. Spec. J51. Cat £1,850+. (10).
