1864-79 1d Rose-red Pl.71-225 (SG43-44, Penny Plate Issue). A magnificent used group of mostly used examples although a few unused within. Including several shades, multiples (Pairs, strips, blocks etc…), positional/plate number pieces, constant varieties, re-entry's, double letters, multiple states of certain letterings, MA/ML watermark varieties, covers etc. included are one hundred and twenty seven *127 watermark inverted examples.. A magnificent study of this very collectible issue, certainly a lot worth viewing due to the range of condition but also the vast appeal to the collector. SG43. (Many hundreds).
