1897 1d Lilac (Govt. Parcels). Very fine O.H.M.S. blue envelope addressed to “Office of Inland Revenue”, Wandsworth Common bearing an 1d lilac (Govt. Parcels) showing overprint inverted cancelled by 1899 cds cancellation. A magnificent example of this extremely rare departmental variety. SGO69c. Spec. L23c. 1990 BPA Cert. Cat £3500 as a used single of this variety.
