1884 3d & 4d Colour trials. Very fine archive page for 1884 “Coloured paper” scheme bearing a 4d Dull green on white paper (as issued SG192) unused with a second example below and a 3d purple on pale blue unwatermarked paper with an additional example below, the two used examples at foot neatly tied by crisp London squared circle trial datestamps for JY.4.1884 from G. Richardson, Accountant General's Office. Very scarce. SG191 & 192. Cat £3000+.
