Striking book piece, bearing a cut down die proof on glazed card mounted on buff card (55x66mm) endorsed ‘July 25th, 1880 form, 240 leads, with dates and leads below for plate printings" additionally endorsed next to printing 4 & 5 “Aug 12” “*Bad” subsequently there was never a registration sheet or printing from these two plates.
