1867 10d Red-brown Pl.1. (Wmk. Emblems). Used example of this very rare abnormal issue lettered BI cancelled by a crisp “C” handstamp of Constantinople. Some minor defects and re-perforated wing margin. Only fourteen used examples of this abnormal have been recorded. Of these, nine were used at the British Post Office in Constantinople and the remaining five in London. SG99, Spec. J99. 1968 RPS Cert. Cat £55,000.
