Very fine used colour trial in a paler more yellowish green shade when compared to the issued stamp, tied to envelope by an experimental London squared circle postmark for AU.12.1880. Upper left corner of envelope removed nevertheless a very rare survivor from these cancellation experiments of which only 2 or 3 exist in private hands. SG165. Cat. £4500.
