Observers and Air Gunner's Flying Log Book, to Flight Lieutenant J. L. Memory 1940-45, 502 Squadron Wom/AG with related Irving Flying Jacket, who undertook 44 Operational Sorties with 502 Squadron as a Wireless Operator Mechanic/Air Gunner. Who on D-Day the 6th of June 1944 his Halifax attacked a Submarine of the French Coast, - his Log Book states “No Results Seen” and on the 28th of December 1944, his 44th and final operational flight, his Log Book Records - “Attacked 5000 ton Motor Vessel escorted by 2 enemy vessels. Direct hits with 2 bombs, ship left burning well. Heavy and light Flak ad infinitum !” A most interesting Log Book with his iconic Irving Flying Jacket
