1885-97 Type 2 opt (long Hindi), with variety seventh character from SHORT font (occurring twice per sheet, initially at R16/9 and R20/12, c.1889-96, and then at R1/10 and R3/12 in a new setting,1896-1900), group comprising 9p carmine (one of only 14 possible, slight faults but remarkably with faint “opt double, one albino” in addition, SG 17ca var), 1/2a (SG 16c var), 1a6p (SG 20c var), 2a x2 (SG 21c var, different positions), 2a6p (SG 23var, one of only 52 possible but creased), and 1899 3p carmine (SG 38var), part to large o.g. and fine except as stated. The first a rarity.
