<p>1948 (12th Aug) Registered cover to Kotwali, bearing 1939-46 1½a deep violet Perf 10 (straight edge at foot) and 4a brown Perf 10 (straight edges at foot and right), lightly tied by strikes of state cds in blue-black for 12 AUG 1948, with perforated black on white registration label at top. Some slight soiling and wrinkling, still fine for this rare franking. Stated to be the latest known usage of the 4a value. SG 13 & 15b&nbsp;</p>
