<p>1948 (4th Aug) Registered cover bearing 1933-43 ‘Arms’ 2a deep dull-green, in vertical strip of three, and 1939-46 ½a vermilion, Die III, Perf 10, (paying the 2½a letter rate and 4a registration fee) tied by three strikes state cds in black for 4 AUG 1948, with black on white perforated registration label. Typical cover faults, small punch hole affecting third 2a stamp, otherwise fine. An attractive mixed issue cover, with the equally largest recorded example of the 2a ‘Arms’ latest recorded usage of the 1939-46 ½a value. SG 7 & 10d</p>
