1867 2s Pale Blue Pl.3. ‘Abnormal’. Used example of this rare abnormal issue lettered SI without left hand wing margin and showing the "abnormal official perforation" produced only at Somerset House (See footnote after J63 in the Specialised Vol.1 catalogue). Cancelled by a ‘R/12’ Registered numeral cancellation. Ex. Fisher. 1960 RPS Certificate stating “Milky Blue…that it is genuine. colour affected by treatment” which seems harsh, with some short perforations. Cat £16,500.
