1924 (Dec) plate proofs in ultramarine on thick wove, six values to 5s (6.25fr) comprising five values as issued (½d, 6d, 1s, 2s, 5s) plus the UNISSUED 10d (1fr) which only appeared with ‘POSTAGE DUE’ opt, as pairs (½d, 1s, 2s, 5s - marginal except for 1s, the 5s with part imprint), vertical strip of 3 with wide margin at left (6d), or upper right corner block of 4 (10d), from the printer's working sheets with various marks indicating the need for retouching, some tone spotting nevertheless a fascinating and wonderful group.
