"Columbia" ' provisional, pos. 1 of the setting of 4, tied by St. Johns machine cancel with Harbour Grace backstamp dated 'OC 9 30'. A very fine and attractive example of this major airmail rarity. Only 300 issued, of which 100 were used on covers, with 70 being cancelled at St. Johns (and the other 30 at Harbour Grace). SG 191.
