1917 Cover front addressed to Canada bearing two examples of the rare "WAR STAMP 1½ d" Surcharge on 2½ p Deep blue (SG 55), one with right sheet margin, along with ½d green KGV, all tied by Georgetown cds (10 OC 1917). At left is a blue crayon "Grand Cayman" registration etiquette, light vertical fold at right affecting the ½d value. Correctly rated for wartime: 1d Empire letter single rate, 2d registry fee and ½d war tax for a total of 3 ½d. Ex Maisel, Philatelic Foundation cert (1959), only two full covers and one front believed known with this rare issue
