1947 Pair of Cayman Island Airways Ltd. similarly prepared first flight covers for Jamaica to Cayman Islands flights, one cancelled at Half-Way Tree (3 NO 1947) but the flight was cancelled and so the letter was carried by surface mail arriving at Cayman Brac (18 NO 1947). The other with the manuscript "First Official Air Mail" altered with "Un" added to "Official", arrival Georgetown cds (20 OC 1947) on reverse with note "only three known)
