1911 (AU 18) registered cover (embossed ‘UNION-CASTLE LINE’ and flag imprint on flap) from Bulawayo to France, franked by 1909-12 6d reddish purple (SG 106), and 1910-13 ½d olive-green (SG 121 - defective), 1d rose-red (SG 125), and 1s black and deep blue-green (SG 151a), tied by ‘REGISTERED / BULAWAYO’ cds (Proud type R2) with registration at lower left, backstamped at London (9 SP) and Paris (10 Sep). A very rare commercial usage of the 1s value.
