1910 (11 NOV) cover from Bulawayo to Scotland, franked by 1910-13 ½d bluish green (SG 120) and 1d bright carmine pair (SG 123), tied by three strikes of ‘BULAWAYO / RHODESIA’ cds (Proud type D25) on FIRST DAY OF ISSUE, backstamped at Edinburgh (DE 10), the ½d with defect at top of no real significance as this is the ONLY recorded first day envelope (along with two or three first day postcards). One of the great rarities of the Double Head issue and highly desirable.
