South Georgia. 1913-41 collection of covers and cards (17) with a number of better items. Includes 1913 Lane Joynt cover with QV 6d (foxing); 1913 QV reply card with mixed franking including KEVII 2d reddish purple, some foxing; 1913 2d registered envelope with KGV ½d to 6d, minor foxing; 1920 6d on Lawson cover; 1928 Sea Elephant ppc with ½d and 1d on face to Chile, illustrated in Heyburn; 1927 Wilson cover with 6d, and another (1928) with 6d and 1s; 1933 with Centenary 3d, 4d, 6d and 1s; 1937 to Argentina with 6d purple and Coronation set; 1938 Nabarro cover with 1929 1d block; 1941 (28 OC) Lea cover with KGVI 4d-1s on reverse, which also has straight-line ‘Opened by Censor’ applied at South Georgia.
