1951 Festival of Britain. Very fine used set of two low value commemoratives on an illustrated envelope sent from London to Clacton on Sea cancelled by the special Festival of Britain machine cancellation for MY.3.1951 First day of issue and the day before the exhibition which opened the following day. Possibly a trial to check the machine was in working order, believed to be unique. Unlisted in Booth.
