1925 1d British Empire Exhibition. Very fine used example tied to a Souvenir telegram form by a crisp strike of the "P.O. EXHIBIT GOVT. PAVILION/WEMBLEY" cds for OC.31.1925 the last day of the exhibition. A wonderful example of this rare cancellation which was only used on these forms and meant to be destroyed once the telegram had been sent. Offered with the receipt copy without stamp but a second strike of the scarce cancel.
