Description
1938-54 mint collection (hundreds) in two stockbooks, mainly multiples with many Plate and imprint blocks, a high proportion unmounted. Arranged by printings but the identifications are often not to be relied upon. Much choice material with first perf blocks; 6d imprint block of eight, 1/- Plate block, 2/6d two blocks, one Plate, 5/- five blocks (three fully unmounted, one with large part imprint) and 10/- four unmounted blocks, two with large part imprint and one a blank ‘Plate’ block. Later perfs with good ranges of 3ds, and the complex 6ds and 1/-s; 9 blocks of 2/6ds, and 8 blocks of 5/-s (two slate-grey, one a Plate block, the other with 1997 BPA Certificate; a grey block of sixteen, splitting). All interesting material, in need of a keen eye, viewing strongly recommended. SG 28-38a
