Description
1938-50 mint collection (hundreds) in two stockbooks, arranged by printings; many multiples with a strong emphasis on Plate blocks. Not all the identifications are correct but generally they are pretty good. Better items include SG 69b x 2 blocks, one unmounted; 71a x 4 blocks, 2 unmounted; 73a four blocks (two are Plate blocks), all unmounted; 73b six blocks, all unmounted; 73e two unmounted singles; 74b unmounted block, and the first perf 14 2/6d (unlisted as a separate printing) in a very rare block of four unmounted. A wonderful collection, some known to have been purchased directly from Peter Baldwin, essential viewing for the specialist. SG 68-77f
