1938-52 mint collection of King's Heads ½d to 3/-, arranged for display on sheets of thin card, focussing on Plate blocks and plate varieties. 230 blocks plus singles and pairs. The 2d value unaccountably not represented. Includes 1d scarlet broken ribbon block unmounted; 1d green first fine paper Plate 31 block lightly hinged, Plate 32 block (one stamp with a small foxed spot) and Plate 33 hinged, inverted watermark single unmounted and block with fairly minor offset affecting three stamps on reverse; 1½d chocolate unmounted imprint block (central fold) and Plate blocks; 6d inverted watermark single unmounted; 1/- watermark inverted (SG 686cw) unmounted; 1/3d block with good marginal misperf; 2/- misperf corner pair, the corner stamp partly imperforate; 3/- sideways inverted watermark block with two unmounted.
