Description
1937-8 ½d to 1/4d perf 13½ x 14 mint collection on leaves. A really good collection with at least one imprint block of each value; an old-fashioned collection with, typically, the top stamps in a block sensibly hinged. Includes ½d imprint blocks with first line of imprint cracked (three states), and cracked plate below imprint (early state); 1d lower two rows (3 stamps), the bottom row with part doubled perfs at base; 3d White Wattles block on registered FDC; fine group of 3ds including Die Ia imprint block of eight with five stamps fine unmounted; Die II three imprint blocks, one with line through ‘L’; 5d imprint blocks, one with line through corner; 6d strip of three, no imprint; 1/- strip of four, Ash centre imprint; 1/4d imprint block with cigarette flaw.
