There are a great many specialist items, of interest to the KG VI and single-country collector alike. The lots in these sales represent over forty years of focussed buying in auctions major and minor, and from dealers large and small, including some well-known items that have not been available to the market for decades . The important range of multiples are usually there for a specific reason; imprint or Plate blocks, multiples from identified printings or with varieties, listed and unlisted, with some great rarities such as the Grenada 2½d Plate block, the existence of which will come as a surprise to many. KG VI GB high values overprinted for use abroad, a substantial and valuable collection (hundreds) on leaves, mint and used; principally a study of plate varieties, inter-stamp markings, re-entries, T guides, etc. &nbsp;Many are mounted with copies of Gerry Bater's observations and some of his original photographs. &nbsp;Leaving aside the varieties, there are a large number of top values in singles and blocks; mostly the ‘Arms’ high values but also the ‘Festivals’. &nbsp;Currently not a ‘fashionable’ area of study but a sophisticated and interesting collection; viewing highly recommended
