China is represented by classic Large Dragons, Dowagers, Red Revenues and Local Posts, while the People’s Republic section includes the Mei Lan-Fang miniature sheets, the 1967 Poems of Mao set and the 1980 Year of the Monkey stamp. Interesting and unusual accumulation incl mint and used Gulf States collection on pages with useful Dubai (noted 1967 Omar Khayyam complete sheet of sheetlets) and Qatar (incl commercially used with light duplication) plus selection of 1960s-90s unmounted mint in packets from Jordan (noted 1969 and 1976 Refugee strips), Syria, Lebanon (noted 1993 50th Anniv of Independence mini sheet), Kuwait, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Iraq, cond varies but generally fine with much received as new issues, a very solid basis for expansion.
