China is represented by classic Large Dragons, Dowagers, Red Revenues and Local Posts, while the People’s Republic section includes the Mei Lan-Fang miniature sheets, the 1967 Poems of Mao set and the 1980 Year of the Monkey stamp. Small accumulation comprising 1867-72 32c wmk CC inverted used, 1879 5c on 8c mint, 1907 Labuan 1c reply card overprinted for use in Straits Settlements unused, 1937-41 set to $5 mint plus unissued 8c, 1938 $25 postal fiscal mint, 1941 $2 clipper cover to England, and 1946 incoming cover from New Zealand with ‘DON’T BUY MORE THAN YOU NEED etc' postal slogan on reverse, also a couple of incoming covers with FMS postage dues attached, 1946 On Active Service cover to India with Indian FPO No 214 (Klang) postmark on reverse, and BMA 1945-48 set to $5 incl both dies and unissued 8c, mixed cond throughout, close inspection required.
